No schema plugin installed
The single biggest driver of low Woo scores. Fix path: install Yoast SEO Premium, Rank Math Pro, or Schema Pro — and verify the Product JSON-LD renders on PDPs after activation.
WooCommerce
WooCommerce 10.3 shipped MCP support in October 2025. The Stripe Agentic Commerce integration is in progress. Unlike Shopify, there's no built-in scanner — and the plugin ecosystem is fragmented. We score all five AI shopping surfaces with 82 checks calibrated for the Woo stack.
Why this matters now
Woo 10.3 + MCP shipped October 2025. WordPress Abilities API underneath. The roadmap mentions ACP via the Store API and OpenAI Product Feed Spec testing. WooCommerce was absent from the UCP launch coalition. Several free WordPress ACP plugins exist, but they're install-and-forget — nothing monitors drift.
Platform normalization
A Woo store with no schema plugin has basic Product JSON-LD generated by core. That's intentional — Woo's philosophy is use a plugin if you want more, not ship everything by default. If we scored that the way we score a fully-loaded Shopify store, every Woo store on the planet would look catastrophic. So we don't.
The structured-data presence check has a floor at 30/100 when no schema plugin is detected. We recommend Yoast SEO Premium, Rank Math, or Schema Pro as the cheapest path to closing the gap, but we don't dock you to zero for using the platform as it ships.
That's also why two Woo stores can score very differently: one with Yoast SEO Premium + Webkul's ACP plugin routinely scores 60+. The same store with stock Woo and no plugins sits closer to the 35–45 range.

Common findings
The single biggest driver of low Woo scores. Fix path: install Yoast SEO Premium, Rank Math Pro, or Schema Pro — and verify the Product JSON-LD renders on PDPs after activation.
Woo 10+ added _global_unique_id as a built-in field, but older stores still rely on custom-field plugins or leave it blank. This kills Perplexity (GTIN is mandatory). Fix path: bulk-import GTINs via WP All Import, or use the Woo native field if running Woo 10+.
Without a machine-readable product feed, AI-agent surfaces can't ingest your catalog directly. Fix path: install WooCommerce Google Listings & Ads (covers Google and Perplexity via Merchant Center) or Product Feed PRO for multi-channel coverage. Detailed cadence and field-coverage checks are coming with uploaded-feed mode.

/llms.txt missing
WordPress doesn't host /llms.txt natively. Install our recommended free plugin (AI Discovery for WordPress) or add the file via a MU-plugin. We generate the recommended content from your catalog and link to the install guide.
Product JSON-LD brand empty
WP-Admin → Yoast SEO → Search Appearance → Content Types → Products → Schema → Brand. For Rank Math: WP-Admin → Rank Math → Schema → Products → Brand. We link to both vendor docs.
